Dengan lima pulau besar dan lebih dari tiga puluh provinsi dan ratusan juta penduduk dan pululah ribu mall, super market, hypermall dll, yang didukung dengan pola konsumerisme membuat Negara kita merupakan pasar domestic yang besar dan sangat potensial yang harus bisa dimanfaatkan oleh Industri dan pebisnis domestic, untuk itu diperlukan upaya yang serius untuk mengelola pasar yang sebesar ini dengan memperluas jaringan serta meningkatkan kerjasama ikatan silaturahmi antar warga Negara dalam memberdayakan wadah dan jalur bisnis yang sudah berhasil memanfaatkan pasar nasional.
Memberdayakan pasar domestic saat ini adalah merupakan langkah yang tepat disaat stagnasi investasi dan melemahnya peluang ekspor, sehingga dapat memperkecil peluang dampak negatip yang lebih besar terutama dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja.
Langkah yang harus ditempuh oleh pengusaha domestic adalah meningkatkan kepercayaan massa terhadap produk yang dihasilkan dengan melengkapi syarat-syarat yang berlaku umum dipasaran, sedangkan pihak pemerintah akan dapat memberikan dorongan dengan menstandarkan seluruh produk yang sudah pantas diangkat dan dipasarkan sehingga produk local yang dihasilkan memiliki daya saing, tingkat kepercayaan bagi kesehatan konsumen disamping legal dan halal., dengan memegang prinsip biar genting tapi tidak putus pengusaha domestik perlu berjuang untuk terus bertahan disaat kondisi dunia seperti ini..

Buka Mata dan Buka Hati

Menghadapi tahun ini memang terasa sulit terutama karena krisis ekonomi dunia yang memaksa negara negara kaya yang berpotensi importer mulai melakukan pembatasan terhadap impor barang dari luar, sehingga negara negara dari timur yang merupakan potensi eksportir mulai melirik negara kita sebagai alternatip memasarkan barang barangnya yang tidak dapat tertampung di negara barat dengan harga yang lebih murah untuk menjaga industrinya tetap exist dari krisis saat ini, alangkah sedihnya kita terhadap sobat yang sangat suka barang luar minded, yang akan mengakibatkan barang produk sendiri menjadi sulit untuk berkembang dan pada gilirannya akan mengalami gulung tikar karena tidak tahan dengan serbuan barang impor yang bertibu-tubi,dan tentunya akan berakibat fatal terhadap perkembangan secara nasional.
Slogan “AKU CINTA PRODUK ANAK NEGERI “ memang merupakan himbauan dan tidak ada sangsi namun setidaknya dapat menggugah rasa kebangsaan, rasa kebanggaan dan rasa kepedulian terhadap nasib anak bangsa yang sedang berjuang dalam mengangkat harkat dan martabat untuk menjadi tuan rumah di negeri sendiri dengan jalan yang terseok-seok, tersendat dan bahkan terjatuh dan bangun lagi karena keterbatasan disana sini yang sudah sepatutnya kita dukung kita beri semangat untuk terus exist guna mengurangi tekanan dan menahan beratnya krisis global yang sedang berlangsung saat ini. memang yang dari luar selalu menarik dengan kualitas dan harga yang mempesona, namun tahukah kita ada udang sebalik peyek nya....kok bisa murah dari barang kita yang sama?
Untuk itu, buka mata, buka hati aku cinta negeri ini, aku sayang saudaraku yang sedang berjuang bukan saja untuk diri sendiri tapi lebih luas untuk negeri ini, mari kita bulatkan hati jadilah tuan rumah dinegeri sendiri., bantulah Saudaraku..!

The development of export Jambi in 2008

In 2007 Total export value recorded of US. $ 667.35 million with a volume of 695,300 tons, while in 2008 the total value of US. $ 984.35 million with a volume of 816,800 tons, so during the year 2008 there is increase in value of export 29.63% and volume increase 14.88%.
Some commodities have increased both the value and export volume are :CPO, Rubber, Pulp and Paper, Coals, CCO, bettle nuts, fish, etc., export to Malaysia, China and Iran increased, while exports to the United States, Belgium and South Korea decreased.

Some of major commodities grown in the area of Jambi are : Rubber Plantation, Palm Crops, Coconut, Cassiavera, etc, and has been exporting to foreign countries, but most of these commodities still exporting in raw material like Rubber SIR 20, CPO ( Crude Palm Oil ), and CCO ( Crude Coconut Oil).
To Increase the value added and product diversification, its needed further more processing like tyre, cooking oil, margarine, etc, for that the government of Jambi Province offers very interesting program for businessman or investors who are interested in setting up investment in this region, such as : good location, Tax, licensing, transportation and port to export the product.
