Earthquake In Jambi

Pada tanggal 30 September 2009 atau sehari setelah Gempa menimpa Kota Padang, Provinsi Jambi diguncang gempa. Pusat gempa dengan kekuatan 7,0 SR dan kedalaman 10 km itu terjadi di Kecamatan Gunung Raya, Kabupaten Kerinci, 46 km tenggara Sungaipenuh atau kurang lebih 400 km dari Ibukota Kota Provinsi Jambi, yang terjadi pada pukul 08.15 WIB pagi, banyak rumah dan fasilitas umum ambruk, puluhan orang luka-luka, dan dua orang dilaporkan meninggal. Setelah gempa pertama , warga kembali dikejutkan gempa susulan dengan kekuatan 5,5 SR pada kedalaman 10 km dengan pusat gempa 28 km di kecamatan sama.guncangan gempa tersebut dapat dirasakan sampai ke Kota Jambi

Akibat gempa tercatat 1.100 rumah rusak, sedangkan fasilitas umum yang mengalami kerusakan berupa sekolah SMA dan SMP termasuk Musholla dan Mesjid, Desa yang mengalami rusak parah adalah Desa Lempur, Desa Lolo Gedang , dan Desa Talang Kemuning.

A lot of countries around the world, every country has its own flag as a symbol, which is quite difficult to remember for many people, but for me, by using Geovisite and Feedjit I can see who was come, the country name and flag at the same time, it was recorded 104 countries visited my sites and most of them are blogger friends whose names are written in my blogroll friend list.

Lelang Agro ( Market Review )

Pasar Lelang Agro adalah pasar non fisik yang hanya diadakan 4 – 5 kali setahun dengan pelaksanaan hanya satu hari , untuk pelaksanaan pasar lelang kali ini tanggal 11 Agustus 2009, perkembangan beberapa komodity agro adalah sebagai berikut :

1. Cassiavera KF/KM Rp. 4.100/kg
2. Cassiavera KA/KB Rp. 3.300/kg
3. Coklat Biji Rp. 24.000 /kg
4. Bibit Gaharu (A. Malakansis) Rp. 3.000/Batang
5. Jagung Pipilan Kering Rp. 2.300/kg
6. Pinang Asalan Rp. 4.000/kg

Total Transaksi pada pasar lelang komodity agro kali ini sebesar Rp. 976.600.000,-, dengan penjualan terbesar adalah Coklat (49,15%), Pinang (30,72%), dan Jagung Pipilan Kering ( 16,49 % )

Looking Forward for next decade

Jambi has developed very well in the last few years, the provincial government is stable and have made much progress, in the future production of Crude Palm Oil and Rubber will continue to lead the next decade as expansion program to expand the plantation, and as a result of the revitalization program is placed today , also on the future of this region need more investor to increase investment in the agricultural sector, developing of processing industries to increase the export of goods that have been in the process rather than export of raw materials like mostly today.
Small businesses to manufacture products still under pressure from other regions and even from imports, but some food products and beverages seems still have the competitiveness in the market such as dodol, coffee, tea, mineral water and many more types of Cryspy snacks.
For fashion and clothing, one of the famous product is the Batik Jambi, in the future are expected to be more competitive to meet the needs of customers in the market

Jambi Export (January – Mei 2009)

The realization of the export value of Jambi Province starting from January up to May 2009 recorded the volume of 287,824 thousand tons with a value of U.S. $ 167,116 million, while in 2008 there were 284,679 thousand tons with a value of U.S. $ 293,781 million, as such, the volume of export amount is not much different, but in terms of the price decrease compared to previous years.
Komodity that contribute to the export of Jambi are : Crude Coconut Oil, Pinang beans, coffee, stone ballast, Pulp and Tissue, and crumb rubber.

Jambi Agro Industrial Park ( Investment Promotion )

JAIP ( Jambi Agro Industrial Park) adalah satu kawasan dengan luas ± 100 ha, yang oleh Pemda Jambi diperuntukan untuk pengembangan Agro / Pertanian dan Industri dan saat ini dipromosikan kepada Investor yang berminat dan ingin menanamkam investasinya di lahan tersebut.
Lokasi JAIP terletak di pantai timur sumatera yang berada dalam wilayah Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, merupakan dataran rendah dan daerah pasang surut, yang selama ini dari daerah tersebut sudah dikenal beberapa komodity perkebunan seperti jagung, kedele serta kelapa

Internet is the best tool in the promotion of all products, in many ways, the seller will do in order to attract the buyer, the buyer are recommended needs to be careful in conducting trade transactions, because the buyer migth later feel disappointed and aggrieved, for that, there are several things that need to be considered seriously by buyer, if the transaction involved in big amount of goods, among others:

1. First, Check the status and credibility of the company, in the office of local government official ( e.g. at least using Exporter/Importer Directory Published by Industry and Trade Provincial Office ).
2. check the legality company documents.
3. check on the spot / on location or do face to face transactions
4. check the address / company e-mail, whether the companies using free facilities provided by the search engine or not.

Checking is very useful to understand the situation and condition of the seller, whether the company is an exporter / importer producer or just general importer / exporter (general trader), when it is properly examined, it will be able to avoid disappointed later ( minimize high risk in future).
